These are always so hard to predict. There are so many storylines, so much confluence of booking going into – and coming out of – the match. It’s always a coinflip, and this time the coin came up tails.
Women’s WILLIAM REGAL SCREAM Match: Faces.
Sooooo… remember what I just said about being hard to predict? It’s not always, and this is one of those times. These heels were made for jobbing, and that’s just what they’ll do. Thankfully, it won’t hurt anyone’s momentum, except for maybe whoever takes the pin (I’m assuming Kairi) – but even the negative impact for that person is up for debate.
Women’s World Championship: New Steph
We know how these limited engagement sorts of things tend to go. Nikki should put in a solid match, as will Vaquer, but this is basically something for Vaquer to do while so many other women in the division are tied up with [points at Regal].
WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dirt McGirt
Lemme tell ya what doesn’t make sense: John Cena going into The Last Match of the Career of John Cena, Unless John Cena Has More Matches next month with a title that’s not the World Heavyweight or Undisputed WWE titles. You might say that it doesn’t make sense for him to have any belt going into next month, and I wouldn’t have a strong argument against that. But the IC belt? All that does is serve to sully the moment for him, and it keeps a belt tied up that Dom would do a hell of a lot more with. Easy choice.
